Laboratory tests are very important components of medical examinations. They give a simple and accurate answer about the patient’s condition, detect numerous diseases and answer questions about treatment.

Laboratory tests give us a picture of the actual status of our organs and their functioning, and serve to detect abnormalities. In numerous cases, they can detect problems before they get physically perceptible. Therefore prevention of serious diseases may become possible.

Blood tests and urinalysis are the two most common laboratory tests.

Besides being professionally prepared, we strive to perform blood tests with great empathy and care towards our patients, so that we could make them feel as comfortable as possible during the test.

Urinalysis helps to detect infections, inflammations, diabetes, kidney and other diseases.

Szent István Health Center has a blood test laboratory so most tests can be performed on site. Laboratory tests can be performed without a referral, however, it is worth bringing a referral in case you wish to have this service at a favorable price. To avoid waiting time, making an appointment for laboratory tests as well is recommended since patients with appointment are called in without waiting at the agreed upon time.

Laboratory tests are performed on Mondays and Thursdays between 7:30 and 9:00 am.
